Today he announced his first arena tour in two years of the UK – but maybe someone needs to give Justin Bieber a geography refresher lesson.

Because today the teenage heartthrob said he has lined up six shows for a UK tour next year – even though he is only playing in England.

The Canadian pop star will begin the six night run in Manchester on February 19 and will play Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham and London, and tickets go on sale this Friday morning.

But he will not play any shows in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

And he didn’t visit these cities on his last tour over here either and just played in England as well as two dates in Dublin as part of his My World tour.

Meanwhile, the singer was left fuming this weekend and hung up on a radio interview after the DJ teased him about his mother.

During the phone conversation live on air with Thomas ‘Mojo’ Carballot in Detroit, the host asked him about his friendship with One Direction, who Justin said were ‘good guys’.

But then Carballot added: ‘Do you worry about Harry [Styles] around your mum since he likes older women?

Justin responded: ‘I think you should worry about your ma, bro’, to which Thomas said: ‘Justin, my mum’s dead so unfortunately I don’t think that will work.’

Justin then hung up the phone and his management said he was a ‘little upset’ about the question.

Carballot was referring to an interview with Justin’s girlfriend, actress and singer Selena Gomez, who joked about his friendship with the boy band on a talk show.

She said: ‘Justin has become really good buddies with the guys, and we know some beautiful young women in the industry who have major crushes on Harry.

‘But from what Justin has been telling me, it’s not the young girls he’s looking at!’
